10 years in the USA....6 days in Switzerland
It has been 3 busy months ...I have been going to the recording studio "factory underground" in Norwalk, CT, with Audrey and Cara where we are recording our songs with Kenny Cash (producer). I was interviewed on CT channel 8 for CT Style with Desiree Fontaine, who is lovely and was certainly interested in doing the Avatar Course.
And ...last week, my family and I moved to Switzerland.
We are now in a small village of 3000 people, but next door are the schools, the bakery, grocery shopping, pizzeria, a dance school and a consciousness training center! what a coincidence.
When we arrived at the airport my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law where holding Welcome balloons. When we arrived at our new place, there was a big sign of welcome on our door with a typical bread from Switzerland, called 'breads' homemade by my mother's cousin, who lives in the same town.
I noticed a couple of things that are soooo different than in the USA.
The first one are the garbage bags:
You have to buy special garbage bags from your town, with a stamp on them, and they are $3 a bag...and guess what, it's great! this means the polluter/non-recycler will pay more. The $3 price is to encourage or enforce recycling, which is made very easy, next to every building or house, there is a place with trash/compost/recycling containers. and the $3 includes the taxes to get rid or burn the trash we make. Clever no?
Another I noticed was at the local beautiful public swimming pool, how women are so not self-conscious about nudity...well that's another subject...
We spent about a week here exploring in the Swiss-German part and tomorrow we are going to Geneva(French speaking part), where my family lives.
It is said that moving is one of the hardest thing to do, and I must say that I thank Harry P. every day for having created the Avatar tools. I use them everyday, to keep grounded and happy.
When I moved to the USA 10 years ago I did not have these tools and for a whole month I was crying every morning for about 1hour before I could do anything. It's like I was in chock.A friend told me about the Avatar course after a year in New York, and it saved my life.
This time around, I feel stable and I feel like I am creating exactly what I'd like to create right now.
I am preparing for the July International Avatar Course and will fly to Florida on July 1st. My girls will stay with my husband, their cousins and my parents for 12 days. They will have fun for sure!

Concert Approaching
At the end of October I went with my daughters in Orlando, Florida, where I participated in the Professional Avatar course. The Professional Course is about connection. It's a leadership course. We had such a good time, they had fun at the pool, while I was working on my resistances to fully experience life.
We came back for a few days and I hopped on another plane to the Avatar Course, again in Orlando, Florida. This time for the Avatar course.
The Avatar course is about being source of one's life. Many students came out of the week of integration shiny and so happy!
My daughter celebrated her birthday in the middle of November-her Earth Party was amazing, we did a scavenger hunt...in the house, since it was pouring outside. we could not clean up the forest but we gave recycled crafts paper in little brown paper goody-bags.
There was about 17 children in the house...;-) it was fun and loud!
The Ariane Studio concert is December 19 2009 at 7PM in New York city, at the Thalia on 95th and Broadway. We are preparing the songs, the musicians and singers are working very hard.
We are rehearsing every day and I am very excited to say that already 95tickets have been sold. The theater holds about 150 seats so with the 25 performers we have about 30 more tickets to sell, I hope we will have a full house this year. The concert's benefit will go to the Hamden Earth Day Celebration.
Yesterday Infinity (the group of my 3 young students, www.myspace.com/infinity4) recorded a second song-the first one is a Holiday one-In front of the Line, that we recorded about 2 weeks ago.
I am also giving a workshop December 12 and 13, the Resurfacing workshop, which is the first part of the Avatar course. It's about discovering our blueprints and how we have been operating through life, and start changing those blueprints that are impeding to us achieving our dreams.
On December 24 at noon, we will host a 2 hours music and hot drink Holiday Party!
We will give out the Compassion exercise and share a beautiful moment. It is proven that 2 countries that are friend consume at least 100 times less resources than 2 countries which are at war. So make friends, raise the compassion in the world and save natural resources.

Creating and recording
Wow, it has been some 2 weeks...The first week end of October the Avatar Masters team gathered in New York city to deliver the first day of the Avatar course, called the ReSurfacing workshop. It was so beautiful to see human beings open up and discover their blueprints and acquire the tools to change what the don't like and keep what they do like. It was empowering!
Then I had a full teaching week of music and introduction to Avatar.
I received magnets and a banner to !promote the concert in December, my 2 girls are going to sing and they are really excited.
I sent the invitation for the concert to all my friends and I sure hope it is going to be a full house.
Yesterday and today, it was recording time...with Infinity. The Demo CD should be ready for end of December and will be given at the event in New York. well it's late and I have a networking event tomorrow early morning. sending love to all of you who are reading. Ariane

Earth Day Celebration
This week has been so fantastic.
I want to first thank everyone for showing up and supporting my vision.
After calling the town of Hamden, CT, the recycling coordinator obtained the Major approval for our concerts and events this year to raise money for the Earth Day Celebration, which is in April 2010. This get us going and this is great!
I guess that, feeling the enthusiasm, my daughter Mathilda decided to make her birthday party a Green Party! So fun! Her birthday is in November and she is turning 6.
Here are her ideas:
1.Do a Scavenger Hunt in the forest near our house and clean it at the same time
2.She designed a book about the earth ... I am still deciding on how to print it and make it a treat for the guests
3.Have a Green Cake with the Earth on it
4.Have Infinity (one of my singing group with Audrey Campbell, Lauren Larkin and Natascia Simone)sing inspiring "green" songs
5.Invite lots of friends to have great time and inspire them to recycle and compost.
Concert in New York(Symphonyspace.org, Dec 19 09), titled "Make a Change", we are now looking for one "up-coming famous" artist that would bring more attention to the event and raise more money. I put a letter together addressed to businesses and artists. Everyone who would support the benefit will have a special place in the Concert, either as a performer or in the Program Book and of course mentioned live during the event.
The money will go to 2 projects:
1. like already mentioned to support the Earth Day Celebration in Hamden
2. create a book about green easy actions to do for the children
The singer students are making great progress in choosing inspirational songs or writing and arranging their own songs.We work now on the details of each song, backing vocals and bettered melodies.
Tip of the week:
To save water, which is going to be a problem in a few years, turn the water off when you are brushing your teeth and use a cup to rinse.
Use detergent that don't have any phosphate in them...(banished in Europe in like 1977)

Try it! Because if we take the actions that will bring us to a better world, we will feel better about ourselves, and feeling good leads to stable happiness. Spread Happiness. Do something kind for someone else.
